About the hotel

A west-coast resort on the peninsula where the Kalu Ganga river meets the sea, about 90 minutes from Colombo airport and a short drive from Bentota. Accommodation runs to 141 rooms, suites and private pool villas, each with a balcony or terrace and a freestanding bath. Two restaurants and a lagoon-side bar handle dining, with an Anantara spa alongside. The buildings were designed by Geoffrey Bawa, which makes it a draw for anyone following his architecture.
