These terms govern your use of this website. The Privé is operated by Anu Priya, an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel, based in India. By using the site you accept these terms.

What The Privé is, and is not

The Privé is an independent travel advisory practice. It is not a hotel, tour operator, airline, or online travel agency. We do not own, operate, or control any property listed, and we hold no inventory of our own. When you book, your contract for the stay is with the hotel or supplier, not with The Privé. Tourist visa assistance is provided in partnership with SprintVisa; The Privé is not an embassy, consulate or immigration authority.

Catalogue information

Property descriptions, amenities, and benefit listings are compiled with care but are provided for general guidance. Hotels change their facilities, programmes, and policies without notice. Nothing in the catalogue is an offer, a guarantee of availability, or a warranty that any particular feature will be present during your stay.

Rates are deliberately not published, because they change constantly. Any rate quoted in correspondence is valid only for the dates, room type, and moment it was given, and is confirmed only when the hotel issues a reservation.

Visa assistance

Visa catalogue information is refreshed from a live source, but requirements, processing times and charges can still change before an application is submitted. Current eligibility, documents, timelines, final charges and the scope of assistance are confirmed with you before you proceed.

A visa application is decided solely by the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority. The Privé cannot guarantee approval, an appointment, or a processing date. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents submitted in your name.

Visa service fees are shown as The Privé rate: our standard visa service fee, as listed by SprintVisa, less 5%. The struck-through figure beside it is that standard fee. The reduction applies to the service fee only and never to embassy, consulate, visa-centre or courier charges, which are set by those authorities and quoted separately. Both figures are indicative until a specialist confirms the total for your application, and the offer may be varied or withdrawn at any time.

Preferred-partner benefits

Benefits shown are those the hotel extends through its preferred programme at the time of writing. They are provided by the hotel, not by The Privé. In particular:

• Benefits typically require booking an eligible paid rate, and are not available on award stays, points redemptions, or many discounted or group rates.
• Room upgrades, early check-in, and late check-out are subject to availability at arrival and are never guaranteed.
• Programmes are withdrawn or altered by hotels from time to time.

We will tell you which benefits apply before you book. We cannot be held responsible where a hotel declines to honour a benefit, though we will advocate on your behalf if it happens.

Ratings and third-party content

Ratings and review counts are sourced from Google and reflect public data at the time it was last refreshed. They are the opinions of third parties, not ours, and we do not verify, endorse, or edit them.

Intellectual property

The design, text, and arrangement of this site belong to its operator. Hotel photography is supplied by the properties and their distribution partners and remains the property of its respective owners; it is used here in connection with the advisor’s marketing of travel services and may not be copied, redistributed, or used elsewhere. Trade marks and hotel brand names belong to their owners and are used to identify the properties described.

Acceptable use

You may browse the catalogue and send genuine enquiries. You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically extract the catalogue, republish its contents, submit false or automated enquiries, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.

What you pay, and to whom

Hotel payments are made directly to the hotel or its payment processor. Visa service fees are paid directly to SprintVisa; embassy, consulate, visa-centre, courier and similar third-party charges are separate. The Privé does not collect card details, take deposits, or process payments on this site.

Hotel rates may exclude taxes and charges that the property collects at check-out: city and tourism taxes, resort or facility fees, service charges, and GST where applicable. We will flag these where we know them, but the hotel’s own confirmation is the authoritative statement of what you owe.

Where a rate is quoted in a foreign currency, the amount debited in rupees depends on your card issuer’s exchange rate and any cross-border fee it applies. Those differences are between you and your bank.

Accurate information

Guest names must match the identification that will be presented at check-in. Hotels routinely refuse or re-price a reservation booked under a mismatched or incomplete name, and some require passport details in advance for foreign nationals. Please give us details exactly as they appear on your documents, and tell us promptly if anything changes.

How confirmations reach you

Everything is delivered electronically to the email address you give us: the rate quote, the applicable benefits, the hotel’s cancellation terms, and the reservation confirmation once the property issues it. Nothing is posted or couriered. If a confirmation has not arrived within one business day of us telling you a booking is placed, contact us rather than assuming it is held.

Circumstances beyond control

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics and public-health measures, government or border restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, terrorism, or failures of transport, payment, or communications infrastructure. Where such an event affects a confirmed booking, we will help you pursue whatever relief the hotel is willing to offer.

Travel documentation and eligibility

You are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, permits, and any health documentation required for your journey, and for meeting the hotel’s own conditions of stay. We can point you to what is generally required, but requirements change and are ultimately yours to verify.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, The Privé is not liable for the acts, omissions, or service standards of hotels, SprintVisa, government authorities and other suppliers; for loss, injury, delay, or expense arising during travel; or for indirect or consequential loss. Our liability in connection with a service will not exceed the amount paid directly to The Privé for that service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip.

How we are paid

Hotels pay us a commission on completed stays. We charge you no separate fee for research, booking, or arranging benefits. Visa service fees are charged and collected by SprintVisa, not through this site. If any amount is ever payable directly to The Privé for a particular request, we will tell you in writing before you commit to anything.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
