5-star
Mayfair House Hotel & Garden
Miami, United States

About the hotel
The hotel showcases the original architectural work of Kenneth Treisters, a design that has stood the test of time and reflects the best aspects of Mayfair's golden era. Each suite is designed as a private home, featuring its own terrace and separate living, dining, and sleeping areas, all accessible from the main courtyard of Mayfair. Throughout the hotel, rich colors and unexpected textures are complemented by art and photography from a select group of artists, as part of the curated guest room art program. Additionally, three unique art pieces and murals will be commissioned specifically for the property by Verre Eglomise artist Jane Richardson-Mack, Bahamian visual artist Angelika Wallace-Whitfield, and Miami-born Michele Oka Doner. Among the most anticipated additions to the hotel are its food and beverage offerings. The namesake Mayfair Grill restaurant, garden-cafe, and atrium bar will serve wood-fired cuisine inspired by the flavors of Arizona, Southern California, and New Mexico. Sipsip, named after the Bahamian word for gossip or sharing news, will be a Calypso-style rooftop pool bar celebrating the Caribbean heritage of Coconut Groves. It will feature island-inspired cocktails, an extensive rum program, a Caribbean menu, and live music. At the center of the Mayfair House Hotel and Garden is a vibrant courtyard and garden, filled with lush plantings, fountains, pools, fanciful copper lighting, and sculptural architectural reliefs. Guests reach their suites through the outdoor corridors that surround the garden, allowing them to experience the green oasis both during the day and at night. The hotel offers 8,500 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, suitable for weddings, galas, conferences, exhibitions, banquets, seminars, cocktail parties, and more. The gym features 1,060 square feet of brand-new, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, including multiple Peloton bikes.
